The benefits of Reflexology Rebalance reflexology
As a holistic practitioner and reflexologist, I aim to treat you as a whole person and promote wellbeing. I do not aim to diagnose, prescribe or cure.
It is not possible to know in advance how you will react to a treatment. However, people often do feel very relaxed during a treatment. You may sleep better and notice a release of stress and tension following treatment. Many have a feeling of mental calmness, and clear thinking, an improved mood and general well being. You will hopefully find the therapy re-energising and uplifting. These benefits can last several days after treatment.
Leading a busy lifestyle can take its toll on the body, making you feel run down, lethargic, vunerable to colds, infection, muscular tension etc. Reflexology can help by boosting your body's immune system, improving circulation and stimulating the lymphatic system to cleanse the body of toxins. It can encourage a state of balance especially to the nervous and endocrine (hormonal) system.
While reflexology can benefit everyone and offer relief for most conditions it is not a 'cure all' and should not be used instead of medical advice for a known health complaint. There can be no guarantees of response to treatment as reflexology works on a very individual level, and no two clients respond the same.
Below is a list of conditions that reflexology has been shown to be beneficial for, but is by no means exhaustive:-
- Stress and anxiety
- Gynaecological issues & hormal imbalances inc PMS and menopause
- Migraines & headaches
- Muscle and joint problems
- Back and neck pain
- Sleep disorders
- Skin problems
- Auto immune disorders
Most importantly it can be an hour of time out and 'me' time and that can only be a good thing!
